Biography

Dr. Fekry El Deeb is one of the first interventional Cardiologists in the Middle East. He started practicing Coronary Angioplasty at the Catharina Hospital, The Netherlands in 1986.He has worked in major hospitals such as the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center. He was a member of the team which started Radiofrequency Ablation for the first time in The Middle East. He is the founder of the cardiac intervention program at the King Fahad National Guard hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as a Consultant and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. He was the Director of Dallah Cardiac Center, Jeddah Heart Institute, KSA. He introduced IVUS for the first time in the Middle East. Dr. El Deeb was the founder of the cardiac Intervention Program at International Modern Hospital, Dubai, UAE. With interventional experience of more than 35 years, Dr. Fekry has performed over 15,000 different coronaries, peripheral, pacemaker/ICD/CRT implantation and valvular procedures
